Disclosure: We receive compensation if you choose to speak to one of the recommended timeshare exit companies mentioned here. The following information is for educational purposes and is not to be considered professional or legal advice.

Heartland Transfer Review

Timeshare exit company, Heartland Transfer ,might be able to help you get out of your timeshare ownership. Founded in 2012, Heartland Transfer is based in Crown Point, Indiana. Heartland Transfer and Go Away Timeshare are the same company.

We do spy a few noteworthy bits of content on Heartland Transfer’s website. For one thing, the company claims that “the only place timeshares get sold are in those high-pressure timeshare presentations.” That is not necessarily true – it is possible to sell a timeshare on the resale market.

Under “What is my timeshare worth?” the company claims that owners should look at Craigslist or Ebay to determine what their timeshare could sell for. This is advice we can agree with – we often recommend the same thing to timeshare owners.

Heartland Transfer claims to have worked with some well-known timeshare developers such as Wyndham, Marriot, etc. We are not sure how Heartland Transfer gets away with posting the aforementioned companies’ logos on their page. If they do not have permission, that is a good way to get in trouble.

Heartland Transfer’s “video testimonial” is actually just a video of timeshare owners who just partnered with the company at one of their in-person seminars. This does not really tell us anything about what the timeshare exit process is like with Heartland Transfer.

Heartland Transfer Customer Reviews

Heartland Transfer has earned an A+ rating with the Better Business Bureau, which is a good sign. They do, however, have a mix of positive and negative reviews. The negative reviews report poor communication and lack of follow-through on the 100% money-back guarantee.

Heartland Transfer Cost and Fees

Heartland Transfer does not specify a cost for their services, which is normal for a timeshare cancellation company.

We always recommend using a company with an escrow payment option for extra peace of mind when cancelling your timeshare. Learn more about escrow and how it can help you avoid scams here (link). An escrow option helps keep you and your money protected regardless of the timeshare company’s financial status or other factors.
